YEOVIL LITERARY FESTIVAL EVENT
For five years during the Second World War the residents of the Channel Islands lived with the occupation of German soldiers. The story of how these men and women, and their children, coped under such difficult and dangerous circumstances is an important, but neglected, part of our own history. Duncan will tell the story of life under Nazi occupation with his book Hitler’s British Isles.
Duncan Barrett studied English at Cambridge University and now works as a writer and editor, specialising in biography and memoir.
Tickets: £10
Members: £8.50
A £1 ticket levy is included in all stated ticket prices.
