Three writers of Indian-set novels discuss their latest works. We welcome back, Vaseem Khan who presents the latest Inspector Chopra novel, Murder at the Grand Raj Palace, set in Mumbai. Abir Mukherjee is the creator of the Captain Sam Wyndham and Sergeant Surrender- Not Banerjee series set in Calcutta in the early 1920s. His latest novel is Smoke and Ashes. Anjana Chowdhury’s prize-winning novel Under the Pipal Tree is set in Mumbai and Kolkata in the 1960’s and modernday India.
