Steven Moore: The Stuff of History

Steven Moore is a uniquely qualified individual having worked as an antiques dealer, auctioneer and museum curator. He is a published author, journalist, and also a highly experienced TV presenter best known for his appearances on the BBC, particularly BBC One's top-rated factual Antiques Roadshow, where he has been a regular expert since 2003. More recently he has joined BBC One's Antiques Roadtrip.

The Stuff of History presents a thoughtful and often funny, curated selection of fascinating forgotten histories that give insight into some of the Western world's most important cultural moments. Told from the perspective of the overlooked, the book will present the curious and adventurous reader with the stories behind icons that surround us and inform our everyday lives, be they people or objects.

This event will take place in Wheeldon Suites 2 & 3.
